What to check before you buy SMEG
- The model code. Every SMEG product has one, such as FAB28RPB5 or TSF01CRSA. It is on every product page, so you can compare it with SMEG’s own site.
- Size and fit. Measure your space, doorways and stairs for fridges and cookers. For built-in appliances, check the niche size on the product page.
- Door hinge. SMEG retro fridges are made as left-hinge or right-hinge models, and the hinge cannot be swapped later.
- Installation. Gas cookers must be connected by a registered gas installer.
- Warranty and returns. We give a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects, handled directly by us, and 14-day returns on unused items.
Is Veldware Trading an authorised SMEG dealer?
No. Veldware Trading is an independent reseller of brand-new SMEG appliances, based in Upington. Our 24-month warranty is handled directly by us.
